HF + EGCG: supplementation with 0.5 % w/w epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG); HF + EPAX: replacement of 15 % of dietary lipids by n-3 LC-PUFA (EPAX1050); HF/HP: high-protein diet, partial replacement of carbohydrates by casein to achieve 43 energy% of protein. Data are means + SEM (n = 7–10). Significant differences between groups were tested by one-way ANOVA and least-significant difference (LSD) post hoc comparisons (P < 0.05).
